Announced in February 2025, the Framework Laptop 13 (AMD Ryzen AI 300) features AMD's Zen 5-based Ryzen AI 300 series processors with RDNA 3.5 integrated graphics. It supports up to 96 GB of DDR5 memory and introduces a new 2.8K 120 Hz IPS display option. The design retains Framework's emphasis on modularity, with most parts compatible with earlier releases. DIY edition starts at $849, pre-built at $1,049.
Announced April 21, 2026, the Framework Laptop 13 Pro is a ground-up redesign of the Framework Laptop 13. It features Intel's Core Ultra Series 3 (Panther Lake) processors on the 18A process node, a 74 Wh battery, upgradeable LPCAMM2 LPDDR5X memory, a fully CNC-machined 6063 aluminum chassis, a purpose-built 2.8K touchscreen display with variable refresh rate, and a haptic touchpad. It is Framework's first Ubuntu Certified system. DIY Edition launched at $1,199 and pre-built configurations at $1,499; prices were subsequently raised amid an industry-wide LPCAMM2 shortage (see Pricing).
