Framework Wireless Touchpad Keyboard (2026)

Previewed April 21, 202612, the Framework Wireless Touchpad Keyboard is a compact wireless keyboard with integrated touchpad designed for living room use, computer setup, and sim rig mounting1. It uses the same mechanical key structure and touchpad architecture as the Framework Laptop 121. The keyboard features a Nordic nRF54LM20A microcontroller with open source ZMK Firmware, supporting up to four Bluetooth Low Energy hosts, one USB-A dongle, and wired USB-C connectivity13. Framework has called it "by far our most waitlisted product"4 and demoed it at Computex 20265. Availability is planned for later in 20261.

This product has not yet shipped. Pre-orders are open with a $100 fully-refundable deposit; no final price has been announced6.

Known Issues​

This product has not yet shipped. Known issues will be documented as reports emerge.

Preview-stage notes: no backlight (most-requested feature)9; touchpad physical click-press not yet implemented at the Next Gen preview (tap-to-click worked)3; two arrow keys are half-height3; no compatibility with FW16 input modules (which use RP2040+QMK, not designed for low-power wireless)2.
